Where it began: caring for people
I started at 16 in my father’s business, in the auto and distribution trade. In 2004, with no medical background, I opened Perfect Vision Eye Hospital in Delhi NCR on one idea: care built on expertise, trust, warmth & range. Within a year, Bausch & Lomb named it their first Centre of Excellence in India.
From 2007 it was the leading eye hospital in the city. Our patients rated their care above 95%, year after year, and in eleven years we cared for more than 100,000 people.

Into wellness
The response from our patients pushed me further. In 2010 I founded Perfect Wellness with a team of medical professionals. We built a health risk assessment for companies and individuals, then nutrition and yoga programmes designed for more than 30 health conditions.
We opened five wellness centres across Delhi NCR, each designed around the five senses. Later we moved the programmes online so they could reach people wherever they were.

A restart in Dubai
In 2014 the businesses I had built in India came down, for reasons beyond my control, and I learned what it takes to begin again. Dubai became that new beginning. I moved here in 2015 and founded Global Wellness, spending the first years learning how people in the Gulf live and buy. Over more than ten years, that became the e-commerce operation behind our brands.

Cravista: coming back to wellness
Cravista is my return to the work I care about most. It is a considered wellness house, making objects for the small rituals of an ordinary day.
The five-senses idea from our centres in Delhi never left me. Scent, sound and touch are where Cravista begins.

Deepika Agarwal

Deepika is an engineer by training. She studied computer engineering at R. V. College of Engineering in Bangalore and worked at Intel India before joining her family's business, where she learned digital marketing. She and Ankit married in 2010.
She moved to Dubai in 2015 with Ankit and started her own e-commerce venture. In 2018 she founded Brain Giggles, which now has more than 1,500 products for children, from back-to-school essentials to seasonal items, sold on Amazon, Noon, FirstCry and Mumzworld across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Her expertise runs deep in running the nuts and bolts of e-commerce operations.
At Cravista, Deepika works alongside Ankit on the blends, helping arrive at each candle's final scent, and she runs the operations that bring Cravista to people's homes.
